The Tahsis Repeater is a VHF amateur radio repeater providing local coverage to the Village of Tahsis and surrounding area. The repeater is intended to improve safety and communications for recreational users in the area. This repeater is open for use by any licensed amateur radio operator (please use it!).

The repeater was installed in November 2025 by members of the NIARS club. It has been a long-time passion project of Stuart (VE7HDR) to provide reliable radio coverage to Tahsis and the surrounding area, where cellular service is very limited.

Currently located at a private residence, the repeater hopes to move to a more permanent home in the future.
